The ME459 Liquid Evacuation Adapter is designed to work in conjunction with the ME462 Series liquid withdrawal tank valves (or similar valve construction) to facilitate liquid evacuation of storage containers in preparation for transport or service. The built-in nylon gasket ensures a complete seal when mated to the liquid withdrawal tank valve and the manual control lever allows the operator to mechanically open the internal check mechanism of the lliquid withdrawal tank valve, without need for back pressure to unseat the system for liquid withdrawal operations.
